Cage of the Red Dog
A crafty but aging veteran of street life and newly-homeless adolescent meet in a violent scuffle over discarded food scraps. Their initial enmity is converted, by necessity, to friendship and then mutual dependence as the pair work together to survive. The story follows how these two resilient rough sleepers cope with the harsh conditions and isolation of street life, and how they finally come to find their own peace.
